Amy Winehouse and the 27 Club

Farley, Christopher J. "Amy Winehouse and the 27 Club." The Wall Street Journal. SPEAKEASY, 23 July 2011. Web. 21 Sept. 2011.

On a Saturday afternoon in London, Winehouse was found dead in her home.
It could be destiny, fate, or whatever. But Amy Winehouse has now joined the 27 club along with Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, Kurt Cobain, Robert Johnson, and Jean-Michel Basquiat.
It seems that rockstars who died at the age of 27 packed in a lot of living in a lottle amount of time. It was almost as if they knew that their time was coming.
Someone tweeted and said that she died of drugs abuse. But no one knows yet the cause of her death. They think that drugs may have shortened her life, but whatever it may have been, she left too soon.

I find this topic about this superstition kind of creepy and mysterical. It is so weird how all these famous singers died at the age of 27. Its so sad that all of these talented stars barely got a chance at life. Did Amy Winehouse die to be another member of this club?
