Frundt, Tina. Enslaved in America: Sex Trafficking in the United States. Womens Funding Program. 2011. Web. 15 October 2011.

This article is about Sex trafficking in the U.S. The author starts out by trying to connect to them by getting them to open their minds to the whole idea of girls and young women being forced into the sex trade. She then goes into a story about her experience with the world of sex trafficking. She was forced into prostitution when she was only fourteen years of age. She moved away to Cleveland, Ohio with a guy who she trusted and could talk to about anything. He listened to everything she had to say and told her things like how mature she was for her age and how well she understood him compared to everyone else his age. All of this was just a scheme. He was really just getting into her brain so he could begin to manipulate her. Thats how he got her away from her family and made her apart of his. His "family" consisted of three other girls who must have also fell for his trick of manipulation. The author's story is really sad and so real. She tells about how she was raped and abused. While the author tells her story, she also states many facts about this trade. She talks about the pimps and their tool: the media.
The author's intention of this article is to spread the word about this problem and to get more people to join anti-sex trafficking groups to stop this horrible thing, The article is biased and leads toward anti-sextrafficking. But there obviously wouldnt be anyone talking good about the sex trade... or at least i hope not. This article really grasped my attention and i think it would probably more interesting to girls rather than guys just because the victins of these crimes are all mainly female. But hey i guess it could interest a guy too, you never know.

  1. Interesting. You could probably do something with this in your paper. I'd like to see how it would be used.
